SharePoint Administrator/Developer Intern


Job Title:  SharePoint Administrator/Developer Intern

Location: Reston, VA or Blacksburg, VA


1901 Group provides IT services through the use of an integrated cloud-based platform that enables monitoring, management, and optimization of IT environments that span on-premise, co-location, and cloud computing environments. Our “as a service” model (XaaS) embeds all of the people, processes and technology necessary to deliver highly efficient IT services on a 24x7x365 basis. 


The SharePoint Administrator/Developer Intern will support all 1901 divisions with their SharePoint portal needs 


  • Experience with SharePoint 365, SharePoint Designer, and SharePoint workflows
  • SharePoint Extentions, Tools, and Dashboards – MetaLogix (for on-prem backup and recovery), and PowerBI (for Dashboards)
  • Experience with Microsof Azure for SharePoint date migration and familiarity with databases like SQL Server and MS Access
  • Programming and tools experience to include:  Jquery, Javascript, Angular UI, and Powershell scripting
  • Ability to work independently and see assigned tasks and commitments through to completion and within allotted time
  • Strong experience with Agile/Scrum development processStrong customer facing communication skills; ability to ascertain required information from customer, for analysis of application issues
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong team player with organizational agility acumen
  • Translate business problems into technical requirements.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and debug critical customer issues
  • Ability to work under pressure dealing with critical customer escalations
  • Support proposal efforts related to performing SharePoint work
  • Support the qualification analysis effort of new SharePoint resources being interviewed by 1901 Group
