Program Overview:

To help governmental agencies meet evolving cyber security threats, CSRA is supporting the Department of Homeland Security five-year Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) Dynamic and Evolving Federal Enterprise Network Defense (DEFEND) program.  This Program is a dynamic approach to fortifying the cybersecurity of Government networks and systems.  The Program enables the Federal Government along with state, local, regional, and tribal governments, with the ability to enhance and further automate their existing continuous network monitoring capabilities, correlate and analyze critical cybersecurity-related information, and enhance risk-based decision making at the Agency and Federal enterprise level.

Position Overview:

Responds to and diagnoses problems through discussion with users. Ensures a timely process through which problems are controlled. Includes problem recognition, research, isolation, resolution, and follow-up steps.

Provides support to end users on a variety of issues. Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems.

Responds to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support. Documents, tracks, and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution. Interact with network services, software systems engineering, and/or applications development to restore service and/or identify and correct core problem. Simulates or recreates user problems to resolve operating difficulties. Recommends systems modifications to reduce user problems.

AA or equivalent + 3 yrs related experience or High School diploma with 6 years of experience
