Job Description:


The Vice President, Marketing Center of Excellence’s primary responsibility is to lead the Marketing COE team, which serves as an extension of the Product Marketing Management (PMM).  He/she will be responsible for leading a team to deliver best-in-class demand generation focusing on lead acquisition, rigorous and systematic nurture, a robust partnership with sales, continuous operational improvements and exceeding expectations on outcome oriented KPIs.  The team is also responsible for developing, activating and producing outstanding 360 integrated campaigns across paid/earned/owned media, events and partnerships; the development and ongoing management of an improved digital experience including web, social, and content; industry leading PR and media-relations; and a top notch in-house creative studio.

Reporting to the Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, this person will be a key figure in the company and a member of the Sales and Marketing leadership team.  He/she will be responsible for leading a team of 25+ subject matter experts in demand generation, media/events/partnerships, AR and PR, and creative services to work hand-in-hand with product marketing teams to grow bookings and revenues for our leading global information services company.  This role will require close partnership with Product Marketing and Sales. 

He/she will focus primarily on executional transformation – improving execution of marketing programs and activities that drive pipeline and bookings.   The role requires an individual with strong functional expertise, deep domain / subject matter expertise, demonstrated financial acumen and budget management capabilities, as well as established industry-relevant contacts.


  • Managing diverse cross-functional team of marketing professionals
  • Coordinating and enhancing marketing strategy and implementation across Neustar lines of business and OneID
  • Developing and streamlining marketing processes to drive cost-efficiencies and productivity enhancement
  • Systematizing GTM, materials, and knowledge sharing to harmonize the Neustar Way across lines of business
  • Works closely with PMM teams to build an integrated marketing plan that drives solution market awareness and demand generation to meet stated business goals.
  • Development and management of strong demand generation capability, coordinated effectively with PMM GTMs and collaborating seamlessly with Sales Development and enablement
  • Measuring success of marketing and creative campaigns across the business with a balanced scorecard of KPIs
  • Development and management of centralized market-facing communications platforms, including website, media, events, partnerships and PR
  • Selection and management of marketing agency partners and review of their activities
  • Recruits, trains and develops team, conducts annual performance reviews and strong at growing and developing a team.

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned marketing executive with experience leading marketing strategy, and working in a matrixed organization in close partnership with Product and Sales for a global organization delivering complex, highly technical products or services. The role requires an individual with strong analytical, leadership, and partnering skills in addition to expect knowledge of one or more marketing automation systems (i.e Marketo, Hubspot)

This person should have worked in a larger, established company; however experience in an entrepreneurial, fast growing environment is highly desired. He /she must have a proven track record of operating in an environment of sustained revenue and profitability growth while demonstrating a customer-centric leadership style.

Demonstrated success in effectively leveraging cross-functional and highly matrix resources to deliver high-quality customer-focused solutions.  The ability to build relationships, work across functional lines, possess superior interpersonal and communications skills, and influence without authority are key capabilities for a leader in this role. 


  • Undergraduate degree is mandatory
  • Master’s degree is highly desirable
