The largest and most complex customers want to understand how the Salesforce Infrastructure works. Successful candidates will be able to understand our core technology, differentiators, and future roadmap for our cloud and then communicate these capabilities back to the market.

We work with newly acquired entities to understand their infrastructure to:

  • Communicate to other Salesforce teams

  • Acquire and develop content for inclusion in positioning and marketing all of our core technology

  • Define and scale repeatable programs across the company for all new acquisitions

  • Identify and align processes, teams, and technology to deliver a unified customer experience across all Salesforce Infrastructure

Role Description:

The Salesforce Trusted Infrastructure Product Marketing team is looking for a technical product marketer who has in-depth knowledge of cloud-scale infrastructure architectures and is dynamic, creative, and has great interpersonal skills to help differentiate and grow our business. A big part of the job includes serving as the “subject matter expert” for the Salesforce Trusted Infrastructure when working with companies Salesforce has acquired and then being the “subject matter expert” for the acquisition infrastructure within Salesforce.

Your Impact:

  • Represent the customer. Be the champion and voice of customers. Build impactful, personal customer relationships. Bring the customer's voice into the creation process.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive the integration strategy, then track, measure, and report against objectives

  • Work with multiple delivery teams to take ownership and accountability for technical roadmaps, program delivery, and constant improvement; this includes supporting and holding resources accountable for their responsibilities

  • Translate business objectives into execution strategy (tactical and strategic), lead and successfully execute the strategy through strong collaboration and agile leadership

  • Utilize internal tools and agile mindset to create a collaborative environment that fosters autonomy, transparency, innovation and learning

  • Anticipate and aggressively remove obstacles that slow down or prevent programs from delivering on program objectives  

  • Drive for clarity to keep teams moving forward; monitor and resolve end-to-end process for things like: repeating pain points/sticking points, blockers

Basic Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in product or technical marketing

  • Excellent communication skills, including written and presentation skills

  • Ability to work across teams and provide leadership of ideas

  • Comfortable in high-stress, challenging situations

  • Strong technical and creative skills

  • Passion for cloud computing and disruptive thinking

  • Self-motivated individual capable of working in a face-paced, startup environment

  • Nice to have: program management experience

Preferred Requirements:

  • Integration, infrastructure product development, or organizational design experience

  • Understanding of distributed systems, software build and deployment processes

  • Experience with Salesforce, including reporting and dashboards

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or applicable work experience
