Senior Java Developer

TechFlow has an immediate opening for a Senior Java Developer who will be part of the Northern VA team and will have the following responsibilities:

• Java Programmer to work with technical teams and functional teams to design and implement
• Design and develop new code to support production operations, maintenance and Enhancements
• Develop conceptual and technical design including use of OOA and OOD techniques

• Four to eight years of experience with Java and Object Oriented languages
• Four to eight years of experience in Unit testing using Junit framework and JBoss
• Experience in developing applications using SOAP Web Services, JMS, XML, XSLT, and XPATH and
• Experience with UI technologies HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Working knowledge of application developments methodologies such as SDLC and Agile
• Team player and ability to learn new technologies quickly
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Demonstrated experience in Java/J2ee components such as HTML, CSS, JSP, Servlets, Struts/Spring, AJAX, JSON, Design Patterns and JavaScript
• Demonstrate ability to write Ant builds and deployment scripts to package and deploy on JBoss application servers
• Conduct multiple levels of testing including unit, system, integration and performance
• Team player and ability to learn new technologies quickly
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• BS degree in CS, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related field
• Four (4) years of Java programming
